Live Trax Vol. 21, 8.4.95 SOMA, San Diego, CA Now Available for Pre-Order
We've selected Dave Matthews Band's 8.4.95 show at SOMA in San Diego, California for the next installment in the Live Trax series. Live Trax Volume 21 is available for Pre-Order until February 24th as a 2-CD set or digital download. Pre-Order the CD and enjoy a $2 savings. You can also bundle the CD with a t-shirt designed to commemorate the early show.
The 95 San Diego SOMA show was performed in front of an intimate crowd and broadcast via radio. Dan Healy, the Grateful Dead's longtime audio engineer, was on board as the recording engineer. Despite it being a radio broadcast, the band was comfortable performing with experimental soloing and joking with the crowd.
The SOMA show features compelling renditions of classic songs with the band exhibiting great energy throughout the set. Highlights from the early show include LeRoi's performance on Proudest Monkey, I'll Back You Up in the encore as well as an exceptional Drive In Drive Out. This version of Don't Burn the Pig is an early jam, different from the later studio release on Before These Crowded Streets.

Dave Matthews Band brought their multi-artist Caravan tour to four US cities this summer with the opening weekend taking place in Atlantic City, New Jersey June 24th-26th. DMB brought new life to Bader Field, a defunct airport space surrounded by the Intracoastal Waterway, only a short bridge away from the famous Atlantic City Boardwalk. The band hosted a 3-day multi-stage, multi-artist festival ending each day of music with a headline performance. One four letter word sums up the weekend perfectly: E-P-I-C. The band’s headlining concert on June 26th is now available for Pre-Order as a 2-CD set or digital download. All Warehouse Pre-Orders will receive an 8-song bonus disc (non member orders receive 5 songs) of tracks selected from DMB’s night one and two shows in Atlantic City.
DMB pulled some great stuff out of their trick bag on the last night in AC with rarity (and previously unreleased) Kill the King, Seek Up into Warehouse, Dive In featuring a new musical intro and a first for the band with a cover of Sweet Emotion. The crowd went wild during the quadruple encore when DMB began playing Halloween after Carter’s snare drum intro to Ants Marching, launching back into Ants at the end of Halloween. DMB ended the show and an incredible weekend of music with the apropos Thank You Falletin Me Be Mice Elf Agin. The fans continued chanting the song as they exited the Caravan and walked over the bridge to the boardwalk.

The New York DMB Caravan has been rescheduled to September 16th, 17th and 18th and relocated to Randall’s Island just off Manhattan on the East River. In addition to Dave Matthews Band’s nightly headline set, Dispatch will perform on Friday and Saturday, the 16th and 17th. The full line-up for Dave Matthews Band Caravan at Randall’s Island will be announced soon. The Island can be reached easily by foot or bike as well as by public transportation.
All original tickets for the Governors Island three-day event will be honored on the rescheduled dates even if you attended Governors Island on Friday, August 26th. All 3-day GA tickets and VIP Packages will be honored on the respective rescheduled dates.

Work at the DMB Caravan at Governors Island and catch DMB’s performance for free each night. During his breaks from DMB, Tim Reynolds continues to tour relentlessly with his electric power trio, TR3. Scheduled for release on June 21, 2011, TR3’s first live CD From SPACE and Beyond is mixed from three shows TR3 performed in 2009: SPACE in Evanston, IL, the Recher Theatre in Towson, MD, and The Chameleon Club in Lancaster, PA. The first Dave Matthews Band Caravan will take place at Bader Field in Atlantic City, NJ on June 24th, 25th, 26th. The three-day festival will feature Dave Matthews Band performing a full set each night in one of only four U.S. locales where you’ll be able to catch the band this year. Joining the Caravan, an array of diverse musical talent will perform on three stages.
Three-day tickets, VIP Packages, hotel rooms and Premier Travel Packages will be available first to members of the Warehouse beginning Monday, March 14, 2011 at 10 am ET. We are excited to announce that Boyd Tinsley will be joining the “Secret Stash” of friends, a group of musicians hosted by Stefan that will come together on stage this Sunday, March 13th at the Pickle Barrel Night Club in Killington, VT. Proceeds from the “Secret Stash” show will benefit Burton’s Chill Foundation.

Tim Reynolds and TR3 – Spring Tour 2011
Tim Reynolds and TR3 will be hitting the road March 3rd for their first tour of 2011. Tim, along with bassist Mick Vaughn and drummer Dan Martier, will open the tour at the State Theatre in Falls Church, VA on March 3rd. Summer 2011
2011 is our 20th anniversary as a band and we want to celebrate by playing music together. While we are still taking the year off from touring, we have decided to plan four multi-day, multi-artist music events that will take place this summer.
